Phantom Of The Opera
Phantom Of The Opera Tickets The Phantom of the Opera is a musical composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on the novel by Gaston Leroux. It is currently the second longest-running show in Broadway history and is winner of seven 1988 Tony Awards including Best Musical. The Phantom of the Opera has played to over 100 million people in 22 countries in 113 cities around the world since its first performance and its New York production alone has been seen by over 10 million audience members in its over 17-year run. In The Phantom of the Opera, a young singer, Christine, is charmed by a hideously deformed Phantom who lurks beneath the stage of the Paris Opera, reigning terror over its occupants. The phantom falls in love with the young Soprano and teaches her to sing beautifully. At opening night, she meets with her childhood friend, Raoul, but as she is alone in her dressing room, the Phantom appears and takes her to his lair in the misty catacombs beneath the Opera House. Christine soon learns his terrible secret and the story moves from the Phantom's underground hideaway to the roof of the Opera House. . In a last confrontation, the Phantom gives Christine a choice. She can stay with him forever, or he will kill Raoul.
